WOMEN’S STRENGTH CLASSES
POSTPARTUM COURSE STARTING 29th April
PRENATAL COURSE STARTING 1st May
What is it?
5 week block of small group strength classes - a combination of pilates style and functional strength based exercise. There will be a focus on pelvic floor and deep core connection/strength, combined with exercises and education specific to women postpartum or pregnant. I am an experienced Women's Health Exercise Physiologist, Pilates Instructor, Yoga Teacher and Mother of 2. The goal of the course is for you to walk away with more body awareness, strength, confidence, empowerment and maybe some new friends!
Who is it for?
Designed for women who are postpartum or pregnant. The classes are pelvic floor safe and suitable for all levels, with individual modifications available. All classes are kid friendly, if you wish to bring your child.
What it includes:
Pre-screening form including goals to be done prior to course commencement
5 x 60 minute small group exercise sessions (limited to 8 people)
Individual exercise modifications
Womens health education and guidebook provided around pelvic health, strength and hormone health (postpartum specific)
Home exercises PDF with videos at end of course
All equipment provided
FINER DETAILS:
Cost: $175. Private health rebates may apply, please call your health fund to see if you are eligible (it comes under Exercise Physiology 502). I can send you individual invoices for each session with my provider number if you would like to claim.
POST PARTUM Group classes: Commence on Tuesday 29th April 11.45-12.45 and go for 5 weeks (29/4, 6/5, 13/5, 20/5, 27/5)
PRENATAL Group classes: Commence on Thursday 1st May 1:15-2:15pm and go for 5 weeks (1/5, 8/5, 15/5, 22/5, 29/5)
